Where

This historic stone house in Catskill, New York was built in 1690 by Dirck Thunesse Van Vechten (also spelled Veghten). Located on Catskill Creek and next to an old Mohawk trail, this rare surviving old Dutch stone house was drawn by Hudson River School artist, Thomas Cole, in 1847.
