Where

https://www.sara-antilles-guyane.com/3830-dtf82665-economie-des-sites-de-rencontre.html Between August 15 and 18, 1969 over half a million people descended on the dairy farm of Max and Miriam Yasgur in Bethel, New York for the Woodstock Music & Art Fair. Over the “three days of peace and music” that followed, 32 acts performed, including the Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, The Band and many more legendary artists from that generation. Woodstock would become a defining event for America’s counterculture as well as a pivotal moment in music history.
