Where

This abandoned hotel in Schoharie, New York was built in the 1870s and originally known as the Eagle Hotel. In its heyday, the Parrott House used to be a hub of social and economic activity within Schoharie. In recent years, multiple attempts have been launched to bring it back, but setbacks like 2011’s Hurricane Irene and a late closures over code violations have kept its doors closed. Today, the village continues to seek a buyer for the building with hopes that it’ll once again become an economic hub for the city.
