Where

These ruins built circa 1665-1669 are a rare survivor of the area’s earliest period of settlement. Within its 350 year history, the house has seen Kingston’s original protective stockade, the British burning of the city in 1777, and so much more. It remained in private hands up until 1962, when it was severely damaged by fire. Not long after, it narrowly escaped demolition when the Friends of Historic Kingston bought and stabilized the ruins, turning the property into a small park where events are still had.
