Where

This location in Bethlehem, New York was the site of Hendrick Van Wie’s 1679 house. Hendrick built his home on the Hudson River on the point that is still named after him, “Van Wie’s Point.” The home is said to have stood until 2010, when it was struck by lightning and burned to the ground.
