One of the largest and most glamorous resorts in the Catskills’ Borscht Belt. Visited by politicians, celebrities, and 150,000 guests a year at one time, Grossinger’s defined the Catskills’ era of opulence until the time when cheap airfare led those vacationers to choose other options like Florida.
Sadly, the abandoned remains of Grossinger\’s were demolished in 2018
