incontri privati gela This historic site in Lake George, New York is where Colonel Ephraim Williams, Jr. was buried after being killed in the nearby Blood Morning Scout battle on September 8, 1755. Williams’ force had been ambushed in this area by 1,400 French and Indian soldiers. His soldiers hid his body under brush after he fell and buried him here the following day.

Twenty years later, alumni from Williams College, the liberal arts college that Ephraim Williams founded, place a large rock on the gravesite with E.W. engraved into it.
