Where

This historic site in Upstate New York is believed to be the oldest structure standing north of New York City. The Bronck House was built in 1663 by Pieter Bronck, a member of the family who The Bronx borough is named after. Bronck had bought a tract of land from the local Native Americans in 1662 before building this house. Today, this National Historic Landmark is one of several surviving buildings at the site.
