This historic train station in Accord, New York was opened in 1902 and was part of the New York, Ontario and Western Railway.
The railroad company was formed after the Civil War and provided a direct route for passengers from New York City all the way to Lake Ontario. It was nicknamed the “Route of The Mountaineer,” but by the 1950’s, the company was forced to liquidate.
