This old Dutch barn in Feura Bush, New York was built by Jan Wemp in the early 1700s. Wemp was an Indian trader, yeoman, and master builder who originally built the barn in Fort Hunter, Montgomery County. classic New World Dutch Barn. The barn was disassembled from its original location and moved here in 1990 by the Dutch Barn Preservation Society.

On the site is a hay barrack. Straw thatched used by the Dutch to shelter crops
