Old Mill Site (Pleasant Valley, NY)
Old Mill Site
A mill has existed at this site as far back 1757. For more than two centuries, it was a manufacturing staple for the area, producing wool, grist, cotton, and more, but by the 1990’s it was abandoned and mostly burned down. Luckily since then, the surviving building has been restored and serves as the headquarters for the local historical society.
